Leave Emails on Your Server

Open your Mozilla Thunderbird Email Software

Select the Tools drop down menu and the Account Settings... item.
If you cannot find that menu option, try hitting Alt-T, then C.

Find the email address you want to use on the left side of the window and click on Server Settings just below it.
- On the right you should now see Server Type: POP Mail Server. If the server is IMAP, then you do not need to perform this change.
- Check the box labeled Leave messages on server
- Check the box labeled For at most
- For the number of days, enter 7.
- Click on the OK button to save this change.
