Upgrading to the Latest Version

To check and see if a more recent version of Vemail is available for your phone, take the following steps:

• Start Vemail on your phone and go to Help, then About. Note what version you have. Exit Vemail.
• Go to Vemail in your phone and highlight it, but don't start it.
• Select Options or Menu
• Select Upgrade Check
• If a more recent version of Vemail is available, your phone will display it. IMPORTANT NOTE: If your current version is 2.10 or 2.11, then the upgrade process might delete photos on your phone. Before you upgrade, we suggest sending any important photos to your email address via your carrier's picture messaging service, or backing them up in some other fashion.
• Select Free Upgrade
• After the upgrade process finishes, restart your phone
• Your new version of Vemail is now ready for use. We suggest you explore Vemail -> Settings -> Alerts. Enable Alerts with Wakeup. Set an Alert Schedule. For Filtering Options Login here and select Alerts.

Troubleshooting

• If your messages are no longer in your Vemail Inbox, select Retrieve Email to get them back.
• If you somehow lost your account settings, you can get them back in Vemail by selecting Settings then Import Settings (forgot user/account number, forgot PIN)
